SMS Families: We want to give a huge shout out to our SMS VEX Robotics, Team C that took 2nd Place in Teamwork at the "Reddie for Robotics" Tournament held at Henderson State University February 19th! We are very proud of their accomplishment.

Our SMS Quiz Bowl team placed second! Huge shout out to their amazing accomplishment. They went undefeated except for when they competed against a 9th grade team!

Congratulations to our SMS Vex Robotics team 86229B on their awards and their invitation to State Competition in March! Students competed at McGhee High School last weekend at the Delta Showdown Robotics competition and won the Judges Award, and the Teamwork Award!
SMS is very proud of all of our Spelling Bee contestants. The competition was fierce! Special congratulations to our Grant County Spelling Bee qualifiers and our champion, Lillian Baker, 2nd place winner, Kelvin Yin, and 3rd place winner, Pyper Glover.
The SHS Yellowjacket Band will perform its winter concert tonight (Dec. 7), beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the high school arena. Come and enjoy!
