Now that both our virtual and onsite students have begun using the Canvas Learning Management System, it's time for parents to create an Observer account in Canvas. With an Observer account, you can track your student's learning progress and receive messages from his/her teachers. To get started, you will first need to log into your student's account. If your student does not know his/her account information, please call our front office. Tap on the parent video below for step-by-step instructions.

SMS Families: We wanted to take a moment to say a few things about the Canvas Learning Management System. Students will access their online work through the Canvas LMS. For Virtual (online) students, all of their announcements, assignments, teacher communications, etc. will happen through this platform. For Blended (onsite) students, teachers will provide face-to-face instruction and activities, as well as online assignments and communications through Canvas. Students can access Canvas at http://sheridanschools.instructure.com/login/saml and log in with their school Google account username and password from the 2019-20 school year.
Virtual Students: If your virtual student is new to the district or you don't know your Google username and password, please contact our office on Monday.
Blended Students: If your student is new to the district or you don't know your Google username and password, your student will get this information at school.
We will send more information about how parents can monitor their students progress in Canvas soon. For helpful Canvas tutorial videos, go to https://bit.ly/32h9ooX.
