Big News from Sheridan Middle School! Team 20352C from Sheridan Middle School has been invited to compete in the VEX IQ Robotics World Championship! This outstanding team — Jackson Knight, Jacob Jones, Priyes Laxmi, and Caleb Humphrey, coached by Margaret McEuen — will represent Sheridan School District as they compete against teams from all over the world. Please help us congratulate them on this incredible achievement!

At Sheridan Middl School in 7th period, Brenner’s class found a creative way to celebrate a big milestone. After a long journey with leukemia, Brenner recently had his port removed — a big step toward a new normal. His classmates marked the moment with a “Port Party” but with a twist, turning their ports into ships sailing into port.

An undefeated season, exceptional dedication, and one remarkable championship performance. Congratulations to the 2026 Arkansas Gymnastics State Champions! Your commitment and perseverance have set a standard of excellence for this program.

Three Sheridan Middle School students participated in the ArkCDA Solo and Ensemble competition today.   Alivia Hunter, Hayden Dunn, and Maddy Smith.  Alivia and Hayden both received Excellent ratings 2, on their Solos.   Maddy received a Superior Score of 1 for her solo performance.   All three students received a 1, Superior for their trio performance. Congratulations to our Choir Director, Karissa Lindsey! Great job, Yellowjackets!

Our Sheridan Middle School Yellowjackets had an amazing time showcasing their basketball skills at the Special Olympics today! We’re so proud of their hard work, teamwork, and school spirit on and off the court. A huge thank you to Mr. Wesley Anderson and Ms. Kacie VanAcker for all you do! They brought home: 4 gold medals, 2 silver medals 1 bronze medal

Congratulations to the winners of the 2026 Grant County Spelling Bee! First place went to Sheridan Middle School's very own Devin Dunn! A total of 27 students from 3rd through 8th grades competed in a total of nine rounds until Dunn came out victorious. He will represent Grant County at the Arkansas State Spelling Bee on March 7. Great job, spellers!

Our Sheridan Middle School and Sheridan High School teams took on Camden Fairview and walked away with another sweep—still UNDEFEATED! Congratulations to the Sheridan Middle School Robotics teams for their outstanding performance at the Lake Village Winter tournament! Team “The Miners” took home FIRST place in teamwork, while team YJ Stingers claimed SECOND in teamwork, FIRST place in Skills, and the coveted “SPORTSMANSHIP” trophy. Both teams have now secured a spot in the Arkansas State Competitions – way to go! And a big shoutout to the other three teams from Sheridan Middle School for their hard work and dedication.
