SHS Student Council hosted its annual dodgeball tournament last night.
3rd Place--Los Reyes; 2nd place--Blue Ballers; and 1st Place--Hard Ballers. We appreciate all the students that participated.





Congratulations to Ms. Kasey Dammann for being selected the SHS Staff Member of the Week! Mrs. Burnett says, Ms. Dammann works hard to find opportunities for her students to learn life skills through various programs. Way to go Ms. Dammann!


The SHS National Honor Society has challenged clubs and students of SHS to donate to the Coloring Book Drive. New coloring books and crayons will be donated to the Arkansas Children's Hospital and foster families. There will be prizes. Deadline is Tues, Feb 28th.


SHS Theatre II-IV attend the student viewing of “The Play That Goes Wrong” at the ASC in Pine Bluff. They were there to cheer on their own classmates! Communities supporting the arts!

SHS had a pop-up pep rally this morning to get ready for tonight's big game against White Hall. See you all at Yellowjacket Arena. Varsity Girls start at 5PM.




SHS Theatre students participated this past weekend at Arkansas State Theatre Festival hosted by Russellville High School. We had 8 Excellent and 1 Honor Thespian recognized. We also had 2 students awarded college scholarships: Jessica Hicks & Alyssa Stewart. Way to go!

Congratulations to Karen Burnett for being selected as the SHS Staff Member of the Week! Mrs. Burnett is always willing to collaborate with colleagues and works to push students to learn in new ways. She supports her students and makes her advanced classes something all students can do. SHS is blessed to have her!
