SHS students - If you plan to drive to campus, you must purchase a parking pass. Parking passes can be purchased in the school office Wednesday-Friday, August 3-5 and August 10-12, from 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Bring your driver’s license and vehicle registration. The cost is $10; students can pay with cash (exact change) or card. Students will also be able to purchase parking passes once school starts.
SHS Teachers, Students, and Administrators have recently had focus-group meetings to discuss strengths and growth opportunities in preparation for the upcoming school year. We are excited to get feedback and learn from each other so we can make it the best year possible!

Seniors & Families – We are so excited that Graduation is here! The ceremony will be Friday, May 27 at 7:30 PM at Jack Stephens Center on the UALR campus. Doors will open at 6:30 PM. Sheridan High School yearbooks are in. We will begin distributing/selling them on Thursday during the school day. We will also distribute/sell them on Tuesday from 8-5 in the main lobby by the high school office. Cost is $50.
Seniors – Remember the Senior Breakfast is Wed, May 25 at 8:00 AM in the SHS Cafeteria. We will leave from there for Graduation Practice at UALR and should return to SHS by 1:00 PM. Please follow dress code, as this is a school event. Girls may want to bring their heels to practice in. You do not need to bring anything else with you. We can’t wait to see you all!
Congratulations to Ms. Robbie Keen for being named the SHS Staff Member of the Week! Ms. Robbie always has a smile for students and faculty everyday in the cafeteria. She has a servant's heart that we all benefit from. We love Ms. Robbie!
Tomorrow is National School Nurse Day, and SHS is blessed with an amazing school nurse. Many thanks to Nurse Nikki Allen for taking care of the students at SHS.

Seniors – Remember the deadline to submit your selections for Impact Awards is Thursday, May 5. You will pick-up your certificates on May 11, 12, or 13 and deliver/present them on Monday, May 16. See Mrs. Stockton with any questions.
SHS JAG students delivered goodie bags and set up a table of snacks in the teacher’s lounge today for Teacher Appreciation Week. They worked on planning and organizing everyone’s jobs and responsibilities along with making treats and thank you notes then putting together the bags and setting up the table in class. FBLA students helped by bringing bags of candy.
