Andrew Udell received a letter of recognition from a community member bragging about how he helped clean up a mess someone had made while in a store. His selflessness and helpfulness impressed this community member, so she reached out to let his parents, teacher, and administrators know how proud she was of him. Great work demonstrating our CKH word of the month for December, Responsibility, Andrew!

Mrs. Hardin's class received another visit from Mrs. McConkie, who shared "The Heart and "Sole" of Art" through dance, music and an art lesson with her third graders at EEI. They learned about perspective while viewing shoes through a window and shared a special pair of shoes. "New Shoes For H" by Don Eddy was the focus for learning.

Prior to the Thanksgiving Break, students at East End Intermediate had some excitement watching the Arkansas State Police helicopter land and take off from our playground area! Thank you to the pilots Matt Richie and Gabe Monroe who spoke with our 3rd grade students about what they do as pilots for the Arkansas State Police and letting our students look into the helicopter as they answered their many questions. We look forward to repeating this experience for our 4th and 5th graders at a later date.
