SHS Juniors - In February, Juniors will take the state-provided ACT on campus. This year, all parents must sign an opt-in form before their student can take this ACT. Students can get the form in the office or at this link & return it by Wed, Dec 16.

SHS Families: As part of a coordinated response to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Arkansas Department of Education in partnership with the Office for Education Policy at the University of Arkansas has developed a Parent/Guardian Survey to gather input from families throughout the state on what is working now and what may be considered for the future in education as it relates to the pandemic.

SHS Make-up picture day will be Mon, Nov 16, 2020 from 8:30-10:30 AM for grades 9-12. Seniors will be able to take their formal yearbook portrait this day. Virtual students are welcome to take pictures, too. Orders can be placed at mylifetouch.com using code EVTSS3NWX.
The SHS Food Production class had their first food catering service Friday. They served the SHS staff lunch on Virtual Friday.

SHS - The Small Business Operations class is excited about working w/ the Technology for Integrated Manufacturing class. The YJ Store will soon be the retail location to purchase items created on the Laser Engraving Machine in the Kohler Academy. We are proud of both classes!

SHS's Annual Canned Food Drive is underway. We welcome our community's help to top last year's total of 3000 cans. Cans and non-perishables can be dropped off in the donation box at the front doors of SHS through November 19. Thank you!
Congratulations to the SHS JROTC on their Program of Accreditation inspection yesterday! They received a score of a 96.9% which places them in the category of "Honor Unit with Distinction," which is the highest category they can receive.
