EEM Virtual Families - Final Reminder for 7th & 8th graders only: Semester exams for virtual learners will be administered in the cafeteria tomorrow Friday, December 11th (Periods 1, 3, 5, 7). Please bring your fully charged Chromebook AND your charger. Tests will start at 8:00 a.m. and students will work consecutively as they finish each semester test and take short breaks as needed. We recommend they bring a refillable water bottle, breakfast and lunch will be provided.
EEM - Student's in Mrs. Vance's class started working on creating their own towns and developing a corresponding map for potential tourists. Each student envisioned their town, named it, then designing their map. What would your ideal town feature?

EEM - Parents of 6th and 8th grade: EEM will administer the APNA [Arkansas Prevention Needs Assessment] survey Monday, December 7th. Student participation in the survey is voluntary. EEM 8th graders - Parents: today students received an invitation via Canvas to join our VEX robotics team! VEX robotics gives students the chance to design, build, and test robotic challenges via hand-on and automated controls. Talk with your child about this exciting club opportunity.

EEM - Happy Thanksgiving! Help us celebrate our food drive winners: Mrs. Teague's Jacket Time brought 126 items! WOW!
Accordia donated 239 items, followed by Fidelis in second place with 162 items, and Cognos in third place with 57 items. Doing our part to help our neighbors.
Troupe 89623 competed in the first AR Jr. Thespian virtual festival this past Saturday. They took home excellent in Duet Acting. These students represent both EEM and SMS.

EEM- No internet? No problem! Noah Long leads an Algebra tutorial for peers. Meanwhile, in Mrs. Scott’s Drama class, characters for storytelling are created. Sketching, identifying internal and external traits with wants and needs. Cell phone hotspots also keep learning going.
