COVID-19 UPDATE REGARDING QUARANTINE
In accordance with new ADH guidelines, the probable close contact quarantine can end after 10 days without testing if no symptoms have occurred. Or, it can end after 7 days if no symptoms have occurred and a test returned a negative result. Note that the test sample must have been collected at least 5 days after exposure (day 5 of quarantine). Send-off PCR tests are preferred, but rapid antigen tests are acceptable.
If your child is exposed again during quarantine, the period must start over again. If your child develops symptoms or test positive for COVID-19 during the quarantine period, you must follow the instructions for isolation.
If your child is returning to school before the 14-day quarantine period, you must contact your child’s campus before they return to confirm the child is cleared to be released from quarantine. Documentation of the negative test result must be provided to the school office to return after a 7-day quarantine.
The isolation period of 10 days remains unchanged for individuals who have tested positive.
Here is the link to the live stream for tonight's games, and tonight is Senior Night!! The ceremony will begin at 5:45 PM.

SSD Dining Services and volunteers from local churches are working together to ensure all children in the community have healthy meals to eat over Thanksgiving Break. EEI and SIS will host their first round of spelling bees using a virtual test that enables all students to compete fairly. If you would like your child (blended or virtual) to participate, please register ASAP at https://online-test.spellingbee.com so that we can assign the correct tests and begin testing next week. Virtual students will be allowed to test at home, and blended students will test using the same format at school. Please note that the campus and county spelling bees will be held in person. Mrs. Burnett's AP Environmental Science class learned how to "hand texture" soil samples collected from sites spanning from Grant Co to Colorado. Students conducted a variety of hands-on tests to determine how much clay, silt, and sand were in each sample. #MakeItCount
