January is designated as School Board Recognition Month to honor those who serve Arkansas schools and their students. The Sheridan School District would like to thank the members of our district's Board of Education who voluntarily take on the responsibility of governing our schools. Board members are required to participate in annual training and contribute countless hours to fulfill their roles and responsibilities. They establish the vision and goals for the schools in the district, and they set standards for performance. They receive no compensation for the time and effort for these duties. Please join us by saying thank you to our school board members. We appreciate all that you do for the YJNation! #SchoolBoardRecognitionMonth
