The Sheridan School District has updated its attendance procedures for onsite (blended) students for the 2020-21 school year. This update is intended to provide clarification so that we can ensure consistency across the district.
Effective Monday, September 14, 2020:
Students who are onsite (blended) learners are expected to be in attendance on campus, unless they meet one of the following criteria:
--Advised to stay home by a medical professional or SSD Point of Contact (submit documentation to office)
--Student is under an ADH recommended quarantine
--Student is waiting on Covid-19 test results
--There is a positive case within the household
If you meet one of the above criteria, you may continue your learning through Canvas and will not be counted absent.
Students not meeting this criteria will be counted absent and will follow our attendance policy per Student handbook pages 72-74.
